The data is collected by GSCB Inc., a company registered in Delaware, USA
1. Introduction
Theezy ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our website at app.theezy.com, our browser extension (the "Theezy Extension"), our rewards program, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy applies to individuals in the United States. Our Services are intended for U.S. residents only and are not directed to individuals outside the United States.
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: information you provide, information we collect automatically, and information we receive from third parties.
2.1 Information You Provide
Account information: name, email address, password, and any profile details you provide when you register.
Payout information: the details needed to send you rewards, such as a PayPal email, bank account information (for ACH transfers), or a mailing address.
Tax information: where required by law, information such as your name, address, and taxpayer identification number (for example, on a Form W-9).
Communications: information you provide when you contact support, respond to surveys, or otherwise communicate with us.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Extension and other Services, we may collect:
Shopping and browsing activity relevant to rewards: the Partner Merchant websites you visit, the offers you activate, the links you click, and information about qualifying purchases (such as order value, date, and items, where available). The Extension is designed to collect browsing information for the purpose of identifying reward-eligible shopping activity.
Transaction data: information about purchases made through Partner Merchants, including whether a transaction was confirmed, returned, or cancelled, and the Points associated with it.
Device and technical information: browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, IP address, and Extension version.
Usage information: how you interact with the Services, including pages viewed, features used, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 6.
2.3 Information We Receive From Third Parties
Affiliate networks and Partner Merchants: information confirming whether a purchase qualified for rewards, the transaction amount, commission data, and return or cancellation status.
Service providers: analytics, fraud-prevention, and payment providers that help us operate the Services.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
- Detect and credit qualifying purchases and calculate, track, and pay out rewards
- Verify eligibility and identity, and prevent fraud and abuse
- Process redemptions and issue payments
- Communicate with you about your account, transactions, and support requests
- Send you promotional messages and offers (subject to your preferences and applicable law)
- Improve, personalize, and develop the Services
- Comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting
- Enforce our Terms of Service and protect our rights and the rights of others
4. How We Share Information
We share information in the following circumstances:
Affiliate networks and Partner Merchants: We share information necessary to track qualifying purchases and confirm rewards. This may include browsing and transaction data. This sharing may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state laws, see Section 8 for your opt-out rights.
Service providers: We share information with vendors who perform Services on our behalf, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, analytics, customer support, and fraud prevention. These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide Services to us.
Legal and safety purposes: We may disclose information to comply with the law, respond to legal process, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of GSCB Inc, our users, or others.
Business transfers: We may share or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
With your consent: We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell your sensitive personal information for money. However, our sharing of browsing and purchase data with affiliate partners may fall within the broad definitions of "sale" or "sharing" under some state privacy laws, and you can opt out as described in Section 8.
5. Extension Data Practices and Limited Use
The Extension requires certain browser permissions to detect reward-eligible shopping activity. We use data collected through the Extension only to provide and improve the rewards features described in this Privacy Policy. We do not use or transfer Extension data for purposes unrelated to our Services, and we do not sell Extension data to data brokers or use it for unrelated advertising, except as necessary to operate the rewards program described here. Our use of information received from browser platforms adheres to the applicable browser store's user data policies, including any Limited Use requirements.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, track qualifying purchases and referrals, measure performance, and analyze usage. Affiliate tracking cookies are essential to attributing purchases and crediting your Points; disabling them may prevent you from earning rewards. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function properly without them.
7. Your Choices
Account information: You can review and update your account information by logging into your account or contacting us.
Marketing communications: You can opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. We may still send you transactional or account-related messages.
Cookies: You can manage cookies through your browser settings, subject to the limitations noted in Section 6.
Uninstalling the Extension: You can uninstall the Extension at any time through your browser, which will stop future automatic data collection through the Extension.
8. Your U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have some or all of the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:
- Right to know/access the personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it;
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you;
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
- Right to data portability: to obtain a copy of your personal information;
- Right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising;
- Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
8.1 How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise these rights, contact us at accounts.theezy+support@gscbinc.com. We will verify your request before responding, which may require you to confirm information associated with your account.
8.2 Opting Out of "Sale" or "Sharing"
Because we share browsing and purchase data with affiliate partners to operate the rewards program, this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state laws. To opt out, simply uninstall the extension and stop usage of Theezy's site. Note that opting out may limit or prevent your ability to earn rewards, because sharing purchase data with affiliate partners is how qualifying purchases are tracked and credited. We retain user data only for as long as necessary to provide our Services or comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting accounts.theezy+support@gscbinc.com.
8.3 California Residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) provides the rights described above. In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email, IP address); commercial information (such as purchase and rewards activity); internet or network activity (such as browsing and interaction data); financial information (such as payout details); and inferences drawn from the above. We collect this information for the business purposes described in Section 3 and share it with the categories of recipients described in Section 4.
8.4 Appeals
If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal our decision where required by applicable state law by contacting us at accounts.theezy+support@gscbinc.com.
8.5 Response Times
We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (such as tax and record-keeping requirements), resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it in accordance with applicable law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
11. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our Services are not directed to children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at accounts.theezy+support@gscbinc.com.
12. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites and Services, including Partner Merchants. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
13. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") signal. There is no consensus industry standard for responding to DNT signals, and we currently do not respond to them. We do, however, honor opt-out preference signals (such as the Global Privacy Control) where required by applicable law.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you as required by law, for example by posting the updated policy with a new "Last Updated" date or by providing notice through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
